A Visit to Naples Beach

A few days ago, my friend invited me and Jo to Naples Beach, which was really an  amazing experience for me. Although my former university is near a good beach, this beach was more beautiful than I could ever imagine.
From the moment I stepped on the beach, I was enchanted by the oncoming scenery. The white soft sands stroked me while the sea birds were flying by. I could hear the wave patting the sands and fading away the footprints that we had left. The salty breeze kissed my cheek, whispering. Sometimes birds stopped, landing right by the water and walking along the trace made by the tide. Maybe they were looking for food or just showing their beautiful feathers.
Then we went to the pier, where we could see through the water and have a look at the cheerful fish and the dancing jellyfish. I could not help jumping, only to hear the old wood floor that told the history of the pier. There were also some unique wooden houses on the pier, on whose roof birds were refining their nest, perhaps looking for the hatching of their baby birds.
The clouds were larger than those in China. I really envied their everyday, cozy fluttering around, with no need to worry about exams. They kept changing their posture every minute, showing us elegant silhouettes quietly. It was really the most wonderful beach I have ever seen.

  1. First let me tell you that the Chinese culture is very interesting, all my live I been excited about it, the great wall, all the architecture of the pass and the present, the martial arts, their food in so many things that I hope have time some day to share with you. Passing to your blog I was considering also go to the beach for the exercise because we have in this town, beautiful beaches as a part of our day by day, in fact is probably one of the major attractions in the area. In my jobs I have to work at the beach very often and many times I try to have a minute just to enjoy the view, where you go from the white soft beaches, the pelicans diving for food or the dolphins jumping all over, to the amazing sunsets that every day bring you a different set of orange colors and reflections in the water. And all this made the area a great place to leave. Nice pictures

  2. It’s sound so much fun. Thank you so much for “inviting” me!! =(
I never have been to Naples Beach or pier. However, I can tell you about my experience at the beach. In Miami, I live nearby Vizcaya and there is a beautiful beach along the highway. I always walked by the side of the beach with my neighbor during sunset. It’s was amazing. There are no words can describe the beauty of that beach. Many runners and bikers pass by there every day. During the weekend, many families spend their times with the children at the beach. I wish one day, you can come visit Miami. I will show you how wonderful this place really is.

  3. Sophie, this blog is great! My sister and I have also visited Naples Beach and it is one of our favorite places to go! The sand is so soft and the beach is absolutely beautiful! We love going for walks down the pier and watching all the birds and people. It is truly a peaceful place and an even better getaway if you just need to relax.
